Established in 1990, An Giang Agriculture and Foods Import Export Joint Stock Company under Trade name : AFIEX started up and achieved success based on such agricultural advantages of An Giang Province as rice and fish (catfish).
AFIEX is a diversified company with crucial fields : Producing and trading animal feed and aqua-feed; Farming; Processing and exporting rice; Doing real estate business.
Regarding import and export, Hochiminh City Branch, Feed Mill and Food Export Enterprise combine together to supply and to handle import-export cargo. Feed Mill imports necessary animal feed materials for serving its production and supplying domestic customers. For rice export, Food Export Enterprise with equipment capacity of 300,000 tons per year can supply enough rice for big export contracts as well as domestic consumption.
For farming, units under the Company make a farming chain from breeds to finished products to serve family and supermarkets. In order to meet requirements of customers, farms and farming areas, the Feed Mill equipped itself with modern technology of USA, The Netherlands and Taiwan with capacity of 100,000 tons per year to produce various animal feed. Vinh Khanh Farm is the one which specializes in manufacturing breeding fish, breed, and farming cattle. With care of Tra Fish specializing cultivation, the Company has invested Tra Fish farming areas of 63 ha. In addition, Forestry and Animal Product Processing Enterprise is a unit under the Company which specializes in processing and supplying fresh meat to supermarkets. It is also a main supplier of cattle and poultry slaughtering service in Long Xuyen City.
For real estate, the Company completed performance of 04 residential area projects: Tran Quang Khai residential area, Vo So Than Bun My Thoi residential area, Southern Chau Doc Business Center residential area, Thoai Ngoc Hau residential area – close to center market of Long Xuyen City. The company are going on investing in other residential areas inside and outside An Giang Province.
Besides above-mentioned activities, the Company participates in such various fields as veterinary drugs trading, short-term industrial trees planting, power producing and distributing, customs declaration service, import and export cargo handling...
